Course Aim and Objectives:
This training session will provide you with the skills and knowledge to support clients to keep their skin healthy by preventing pressure ulcers.
Learners successfully completing this training will gain understanding of the causes of pressure ulcers and what measures to take to prevent them.
Key Topics covered in this training include:
The latest incidents and prevalence of an individual developing a pressure ulcer and the costs to the NHS, common pressure locations on the body, likely causes and contributory factors, prevention methods.
