Course Aim and Objectives:
This training session will provide you with the information you need to enable you to recognise different types of harm and abuse.
Learners successfully completing this training will be able to identify abuse and understand what to do if they suspect an individual in their care is being abused.
Key Topics covered in this training include:
Understanding what a ‘vulnerable adult’ is, recognising the signs of abuse and neglect, understanding how individuals can be protected and identifying the steps to take in the event of an allegation or suspicion of abuse.

Suitable for:
Anyone wanting to begin a career in the care sector or requiring a refresher on Safeguarding Vulnerable adults.
